Method
- Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium sized bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream your softened butter (and/or cannabutter), granulated sugar, and brown sugar until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until a soft dough forms. It should be easy to make into balls without getting dough stuck to your hands.
- Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough. Your heart will tell you how much chocolate to use.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown but the centers are soft.
Stand mixer or electric hand beater highly recommended.
